Our prices are net, import VAT is charged in addition
LumiThérapie ships from Switzerland, which is not a member of the European Union. Our prices are therefore net prices, without VAT: no tax is added by us. On the other hand, on entry into your country, your parcel is cleared through customs and you pay the carrier:
- your country's import VAT — from 17% (Luxembourg) to 27% (Hungary), 20% in France, 19% in Germany, 21% in Belgium and Spain, 22% in Italy, 23% in Portugal;
- the carrier's customs clearance fees, generally €15 to €25;
- no customs duty on this type of device in Switzerland–EU trade: only VAT applies.
In practical terms, for a device invoiced at 500 € net delivered in France, allow around 100 € of VAT and about twenty euros of fees on receipt. The price we quote you includes this explanation: you will always know what to expect before confirming.
Times and shipping costs
Each device leaves from our warehouse or directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, depending on the model. The exact time is confirmed to you in writing along with the price.
Tracking is sent to you as soon as the parcel is dispatched. Bulky devices (full-body panels) travel by specialist transport: the time is somewhat longer and shipping is calculated case by case.

Withdrawal and warranty
14 days to change your mind
If you are a private individual residing in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt, without having to give a reason. Write to us: we will tell you how to proceed with the return.
The device must come back complete and in resaleable condition. Return costs are payable by you, except in the event of an error on our part. Reimbursement takes place within 14 days of receipt of the return.
2-year legal warranty
All our devices come with the 2-year legal warranty of conformity provided for under European law, to which, depending on the model, a manufacturer's commercial warranty is added.
In the event of a fault, contact us before sending anything back: many problems are resolved without a return, and we arrange collection when necessary.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made devices or to professional orders. For a purchase by a company or a practice, the conditions are set out in the quotation.
